Design Inspiration ::: Milton Glaser

I was revisiting an artist series directed by Hillman Curtis today after work slowed down a bit. They are truly some of the most inspirational films I’ve seen that focus on some of the biggest names in design and have impacted the world as we know it today (even if you’ve never heard of them).

Hands down, the most inspirational designer to me is Milton Glaser.

But what the video interview offers is a look into his philiosophy, how he looks at the world and why he’s stayed so passionate about design and teaching.

“None of us have the ability to understand our path until it’s over.”
“…because you have access to people’s minds and you communicate
to people…there is a corresponding responsibility…”
-Milton Glaser

    Great video. I found it very inspiring. Personally I had never heard about Milton Glaser, but I’m glad I have now. His thoughts about the importance of art in the community and about not losing interest have given me an even better reason than the one I had before to wake up tomorrow morning :-)
